Thursday 21 July - Thank You!
I am delighted to let you know that the recent PTFA/School Council Fun Run raised £853.10! Thank you so much to everyone who helped make this event such a success.
As you are aware, this year we have been raising funds for a new school stage. The one currently used has been here ever since the school was built in 1975! I am pleased to say that due to your tremendous support we will be able to buy the new stage next term.
We have yet to decide on our next target, so any suggestions will be welcomed. Further details of future fundraising events will be announced next term.
May I, on behalf of the Belmont PTFA, thank everyone who has supported us this year; whether that be by making donations, sponsoring the children or attending and helping out at our events. It has been very much appreciated. If you would like to find out more about the PTFA and join us in raising funds for our school, please contact the school office.
Summer Fayre - 1 July 2016
We would like to say thank you to all who made donations and helped at our recent Summer Fayre which was sponsored by Pay Plan.
It was lovely to see so many people support us and we are pleased to let you know that £355.64 was raised for the school fund.
Money from the sponsored skip is still coming in but we hope to let you know the final amount raised before term ends.
Thank you once again for all your support this year.
Up Coming Event - Summer Fayre 1 July 2016
Our annual Summer Fayre will be held on Friday 1 July from 3:30 pm onwards. We are looking for a local company or individual to sponsor our Fayre. We ask for a £50.00 cash donation, which will be used as 1st prize in our raffle. In exchange for the £50.00 we will use your company logo/brand on all of our advertising posters and stall signs. If you know of anyone who you think would be willing to help us please leave us details at the office. We also need raffle prizes, so if you know anyone who would donate a small prize please let us know.
We have lots of great stalls and activities planned for our Fayre: a raffle, tombola, refreshments and cakes plus lots of games. If the weather is fine we will be outside and inside if there is a threat of rain - so it will go ahead whatever the weather!
This year we are offering parents a chance to get involved with the Fayre by holding your own stall. We are asking £5:00 plus a raffle prize. If you would like a stall please leave details at the office. Spaces are limited, so please don't leave it too late.

Let's Skip To Keep Fit- Latest News
Thank you so much to everyone who was able to return a sponsorship form or made a donation for 'Let's skip to keep fit'. There was lots of fun and laughter and everyone had a great time!
The sponsor forms were returned to the children today. We would appreciate if all monies pledged could be sent into school as soon as possible.

Up-Coming Event - Let's Skip To Keep Fit! 20 May 2016
As you know we are now trying to raise money to buy a new school stage. Together with the School Council we have organised a sponsored skip which will take place during the school day on Friday 20 May. The School Council announced the event in assembly today and each child in the school was given a letter and sponsor sheet. If your child would like to take part, please return the sheet to school by Wednesday 18 May. Non-uniform can be worn but children should wear sensible footwear. If your child does not want to take part in the actual skip they may wear non-uniform for a donation. Skipping ropes/hoops will be provided.
We raised over £1700 with our sponsored event last year which was used for our fabulous school library. We hope you will be able to support us again.
Christmas Fayre News - December 2015
We were delighted to welcome so many family and friends to our recent Christmas Fayre. I am pleased to let you know that a fantastic £699.38 was raised for our new school stage fund. We would like to thank everyone for their donations and support.
Upcoming Event - PTFA Christmas Fayre 3 December 2015
We are pleased to let you know that our annual Christmas Fayre will take place on Thursday 3 December from 1:45 pm. If you are able to donate any items please send them into school from Monday 23 November 2015. Please bring cakes in on the day. This year we will be having the following stalls: Cakes, bric-a-brac, refreshments, fun and games visit Santa, tombola and raffle (first prize £50 kindly donated by AJ Boyle Electrical).
We are looking for help setting up and running stalls during the afternoon. If you are able to help us, please contact the school office.

Friday 23 October 2015 - Join The PTFA!
We are looking for parents and grandparents to join our small but perfectly formed friendly team of PTFA volunteers.
Over the past few years we have raised an amazing £10,000 which helped to refurbish the school library. We are now raising funds for a new school stage.
We would like to invite anyone who is interested in joining us to our next meeting, which will take place after half term on Wednesday, 4 November at 2:30 pm in school.
If you would just like to help out from time to time, we are looking for help setting up and running stalls for our Christmas Fayre which will take place on Thursday 3 December from 1:45 pm.

I am delighted to let you know that the recent PTFA/School Council Fun Run raised a magnificent £1776.88! Thank you so much to everyone who helped make this event such a success.
As you are aware, we have been raising funds for our new school library. I am pleased to say that we have reached our target and that the school now has new library furniture and fabulous new books!
We have decided that our next project is for a new school stage. Further details of future fundraising events will be announced next term.

Monday 29 June 2015 - Summer Fayre News
I'm very pleased to let you know that we raised £482.65 for the School Fund at our Summer Fayre held last Friday afternoon.
Thank you so much to everyone who made donations and came to support us and to the parents, carers and staff who ran the stalls and activities for us.
Friday 19 June 2015- Summer Fayre
Our annual Summer Fayre will take place on Friday 26 June from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Activities during the afternoon include bric a brac, tombola, raffle, games and a cake stall along with refreshments.
Any donations for the stalls would be very much appreciated, with donations for the cake stall brought into school on the Friday morning.
If you are able to help out on Friday afternoon, please call into the school office to let us know.

We are delighted to let you know that the amount raised at our recent event is currently a fabulous £1300! There are still some sponsorship forms outstanding and we would appreciate if all monies pledged are handed into the school office as soon as possible.

Wednesday 20 May 2015: Fun Run
We were so pleased by the response to our fun run which took place today. Over 130 children were sponsored and all had a great time! Sponsor forms have been returned to the children so that all monies promised can be collected. Please will you return the donations to school by Friday 5 June.

Friday 17 April 2015: Cake Sale Thanks
Thank you to everyone who donated or bought cakes for our Cake Sale yesterday afternoon. The stall was extremely busy and every cake was sold. We raised £44.00 for the school.
Tuesday 14 April 2015: Cake Sale
This will take place after school under the canopy outside the Junior entrance on Thursday 16 April.
Any donations of cakes would be much appreciated and can be brought into school on the morning of the Cake Sale. This will help to raise funds for our school.

Friday March 27 2015: Easter Egg Colouring Competition
We were so pleased by the number of entries for our colouring competition. The difficult job of deciding on the winners was held by our Chair of Governors Mr Horan, who announced the names of the two winners for each class in Achievers Assembly.
The winning entries were by:
Reception Class: Aaron and Sienna; Year 1: Lily and Leah; Year 2: Sam and Kyra; Year 3: Jessica and Harry; Year 4: Connie and Eboni; Year 5; Barry and Lakisha; Year 6: Grace and Sarah.
We raised £32.00 for the school and are now looking forward to our next event, the Cake Sale, on 16 April. We hope to see you there!

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the raffle prizes at the Music Celebration Evening yesterday. We are delighted to report that we raised a fabulous £76.00 for the school.
