We are introducing a new feature to our home learning - Microsoft Teams - which we hope will allow teachers to work more closely with children who are not in currently in school. It can be accessed through any device - PC, tablet or smart phone, and when logged on, children will be able to connect with their teacher and classmates. They will find the learning that has been set as well as instructions for how to complete it. Children may be asked to watch a video, complete an online quiz, or write in their home learning book. They will have access to Word, PowerPoint and Excel and will be able to easily upload a photo of their work - it won't need to be printed out. Importantly, children can message their teacher if they get stuck or would like extra work and they will know their teacher will see their work when it's been completed.
All families will be sent an email giving details of their child's user name and password as well as a guide for using Teams. A further copy of the guide can be obtained by clicking HERE. You can find out more about Teams on the Microsoft website - click HERE to go directly to the page.
If you would like help or further information on how to use Microsoft Teams, please email your child's class teacher.
Thank you for your continued support.
