Our wonderful school choir spread Christmas joy in the community at the beginning of December when they sang carols for the Friendship Group at the Harrowby Lane Methodist Church. They were in action again yesterday when the whole school walked across to the Methodist Church for our annual Christmas Carol concert.
It was lovely that so many parents/carers and friends were able to join us to sing carols and listen to the story of the nativity read by the children in Taruca Class. We would like to thank everyone from the Church for making us feel so welcome.
This morning, we held our Christingle celebration which reminds us to think of those less fortunate than ourselves at this time of year. The appearance of the lit Christingle candles into the darkened hall is always a very special moment in our school year.
