At Belmont, we care about the all round development of children, not only their academic success. We know that children learn better and are happier in school if their emotional needs are also addressed, and we aim to do this with all children through our daily work in school. However, life is particularly challenging for children and adults at the moment, and sometimes it is difficult to know how to explain or where to turn for help.
To help, we have collated lots of information which can be found in our Wellbeing and Mental Health section of the website - please click HERE to go directly to it. You will find books and guides and links to organisations that may be able to help. In particular, there is a link to the Lincolnshire Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health Pathway which has advice on many topics including loneliness, eating concerns and anxiety.
In addition, as well as information about the support given by Miss Allen in her role as ELSA, you will also find a link to the Children's Mental Health Week website which has lots of games and activities for you to access.
We hope you find the information we have provided useful. If you have any queries about the support your child may need, please contact their class teacher. A contact form can be found on each class page of our website.
