Thank you so much to everyone who made a donation to last week's Comic Relief 40th Birthday fundraiser. With the children dressed in red or party clothes, they had a great day taking part in the various Red Nose day activities.

A favourite event in each class was the Joke Competition, with the winners being Grace, Melody, Liam, Sasha, Aayrushri, Ruby and Logan. Liam's joke was judged the overall winner - you can read it on the poster below!

The Belmont Bake Off also proved very popular and with the standard being so high it was difficult to choose the winners. After a lot of deliberation, the overall first prize went to Grace (EYFS - Reindeer Class); second place was Jacob (Year 3 - Impala Class) and third, Harriet (Year 5 - Sambar Class). Huge congratulations to all three for such wonderful cakes and our thanks to everyone who baked an entry. The competition was followed by a Cake Sale at the end of the day which raised an incredible £90.96!

Overall, a fantastic total of £236.48 was raised for the charity and our thanks again to everyone who made the day such a great success.
