In October last year, the FOBS were very pleased to announce that our school had been accepted as a local cause for the next twelve months as part of the Co-Op Community Fund. Their aim was to raise funds to go towards the redevelopment of our Wildlife and outdoor areas. We are thrilled to let you know that due to the wonderful support of our local community, the total raised during the year was £2,407.94!
Earlier this month, Mr Davidson along with members of the FOBS and the Belmont Pupil Parliament made a visit to the Co-Op on Princess Drive to receive a cheque presented by members of the Co-Op.
The money that has been raised will make a huge difference for the children at Belmont and we really appreciate the hard work of the FOBS, the support of the Co-Op and the generosity of the local community.
We cannot wait to get started on the exciting redevelopment of our Wildlife area and for the children to make use of the area to enhance their learning even further.
