Getting Ready For September

We are very pleased to inform you that over the summer holidays, works will be carried out to refurbish the car parks.  In addition to these works, the infant playground will also be resurfaced with some minor improvements being made and new markings installed for the children to investigate.

Here are a few tips to help you to prepare for that big day when we return to school on

Wednesday, 4 September 2019:

School Uniform

  • Please click HERE for full details of our school uniform. It can be bought online at Nationwide School Uniforms (please click HERE to go directly to the site).  Please name all items of clothing so if any get lost they can quickly be returned to their owner.
  • Due to the school summer holidays, please be advised that the cut-off date for on-line orders to be delivered to school from Nationwide School Uniforms will be Friday 30 August 2019.  Orders will be leaving our premises on Tuesday 3 September for delivery to the school on Wednesday 4 September 2019.

  • Children should wear black sensible, sturdy shoes (trainers are not allowed and should be kept for sport, no open toed sandals or slip on shoes).

  • Your child should have their PE kit in school every day and have well fitting plimsolls.

  • Jewellery - only one stud ear-ring per ear lobe is allowed to be worn at school.  Ear-rings need to be removed or covered for PE and taken out by your child for swimming.

Meals and Snacks

  • Hot meals should be ordered online via in advance. Please click HERE to go directly to the site.
  • Your child may be entitled to FREE school meals. Please click HERE for more information.
  • Children should have a named plastic drink bottle and lunch box unless your child will have hot meals.
  • Children may bring a healthy snack - no crisps or chocolate please. There is a snack bar for Key Stage 2 children at 10.45 am every day. Children in EYFS and Key Stage 1 are given the option of free fruit each day.

Please note that children moving into Year 3 (Impala Class) should arrive and leave school via the Junior Gate. The KS2 school day finishes at 3.20 pm.

Thank you.
