Six lucky pupils from KS2 were able to try a new sport last week when they, along with Miss Allen, went to the King's School Sports Hall.
Goalball is a team sport for athletes with a vision impairment. In teams of three and wearing blindfolds. the children had to throw a ball with bells embedded in it into their opponents goal. They needed to use the sound of the bell to judge the position and movement of the ball. Not an easy task! Miss Allen was very impressed by how confident the children became during the game, trusting their listening skills and having a great time!
