Today, we were pleased to welcome back to Belmont, PCSO Rowena Everitt who delivered a special assembly to the children in Sambar and Taruca Classes entitled 'Money Mules'.
Even though the children are young, they still can be affected by fraud such as by phishing or hacking. It is important therefore, that they understand not all websites are trustworthy and can identify what personal details mean in relation to passwords and finances. During the assembly, the children learnt the meaning of the term 'Money Mules' and most importantly talked about how they can protect themselves from fraud.
The children commented afterwards that they found the assembly super helpful and are looking forward to PCSO Rowena's next visit!
