We were delighted to take girls from Key Stage 1 to the 'Let Girls Play' event at the Meres last Friday! Organised by the National Football Association and Inspire+, the fun afternoon had the aim of increasing girls' participation in football. It is hoped that by raising the profile of girls' football in an only girls non-competitive environment, many more girls of all abilities will feel more confident in taking part in games as they grow older.

The girls had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed taking part in all of the fun activities.
