Merry Christmas!

The last day of the Autumn term was certainly busy, with everyone really in the Christmas spirit! We began with our annual Christingle celebration, where the children sat in the round in the darkened hall to sing a carol. Four children from Barasingha explained the meaning of the Christingle and as the choir sang 'Away in the Manger', two from each class carried a lit candle into the centre of the circle.

Lunchtime, of course, meant party time really could begin and we were very excited that Santa was able to come along to give gifts to each class.

The final event of the afternoon was our Christmas concert where each class entertained with a special Christmas song. A wonderful way to end the term! You can find more photos and a video of Sambar Class singing their own version of the 12 Days of Christmas in the Photo Gallery!

The Governors and staff at Belmont wish you a very happy Christmas and hope you have a wonderful New Year!
