Odd Socks Day - Thursday 18 November

This is Anti-Bullying Week, an annual event organised by the Anti-Bullying Alliance. Last year, Anti-Bullying Week reached over 7 million children and young people, trended at number 1 on Twitter, and reached 44 million on TikTok!

It is a fantastic way to raise awareness of bullying and this year has the theme of 'One Kind Word'. Children in every class will have the opportunity this week to talk and learn more about friendships and the difficulties that arise which may include bullying behaviour.

As part of our learning this week, we are very excited to let you know that we will be celebrating with an ODD SOCKS DAY on Thursday, 18 November!

With the aim of promoting the message of acceptance, understanding, respect and equality, we are encouraging everyone to express themselves and celebrate their individuality and what makes us all unique! It will be fantastic if everyone could wear odd socks to school on that day!

You can watch the official Odd Socks Day video by Andy and the Odd Socks on their YouTube Channel - please click HERE to go directly to it!

Please note there will be no monetary donation required.
