We had a great celebration of our individuality and uniqueness on Monday when we took part in Odd Socks Day in support of Anti-bullying Week! It was wonderful that so many children and staff joined in the fun!
Monday was also the International Day for Tolerance, and in the special assembly led by Mr Davidson, we thought about what tolerance means and how it links to the theme of Odd Socks Day - that it is okay to be different. During the assembly, we watched a fun, thought-provoking video by 10-year old Cole Blakeway. It can be found on YouTube by clicking HERE.
During the rest of the day, children took part in activities where they celebrated their differences and also discussed how we can be united against bullying. Below, you can see some photos of the great socks worn on the day!
