It was a busy term for sport here at Belmont! As well as having teams take part in the School Games 'Shuttle Stars' Badminton Festival; the School Games Boccia competition and the Sportshall Athletics competition, the children in Years 3 and 4 completed their football PE unit with a House football tournament! The effort levels and improvement shown throughout the afternoon was excellent!

Some of our Young Ambassadors attended Harrowby School’s Inspire+ Legacy Tour assembly as part of the 2025 Legacy Tour! They joined in the Royal Opera House welcome dance and read out their pledge to our school: to help all children play and be active. The Inspire+ Mini Olympics will be taking place during June and we're very excited to let you know we will be representing the country of Brazil!

We were also very proud of our fantastic team of swimmers who took part in the Grantham Rotary Club Swimarathon at the Meres last week. The children swam exceptionally well, supporting and cheering each other on, all great representatives of the school.
