This term has been very different in more ways than one! No events held at external venues, no mixed year group inter-school competitions and contactless PE, but that hasn’t affected yet another great term of PE. All of the year groups have enjoyed their PE learning and during this time, just as importantly, they have been safe in their approach!
Year 6 have had the opportunity to work with Inspire+ coach Kane for their tag rugby unit, something they have had great success in. Our Playground Leaders had the opportunity to complete their training this term, with one final session with Inspire+ coach Jack, where they learnt some socially distanced games, received their certificates and Playground Leader hats.
The end of the term saw us take part in a School Games virtual mile competition, where the fastest three boys and three girls in each year group were put forward for the competition against other schools in our area, in the hope of competing in the county competition. Well done to everyone who had a go and to those who finished in the top three, good luck in the competition!
Finally this term saw our Young Ambassadors retrained (virtually!) and four new Ambassadors join the team - the hard work starts now!
Thank you for your continued effort and support!
