Star Achievers Of The Week

Mr Davidson was delighted to welcome everyone to his favourite assembly of the week as our Stars shared their fantastic learning with us all this morning.

This week, our fabulous Stars received certificates for:

Reindeer Class - the amazing improvement in her blending skills.

Fallow Class - his enthusiasm and hard work in English.

Elk Class - her fantastic PE skills and teamwork.

Impala Class - her great focus and enjoyment during our food technology project.

Barasingha Class - his amazing work in English.

Sambar Class - her excellent description in our information text.

Taruca Class - her wonderful perspective art work.

We always love to celebrate success outside of school, and today congratulated Micayla who has been awarded a level 8 certificate in gymnastics and Lily who has been awarded her second Cordas (belt) in Capoeira.

Mr Togher was very proud to share the success of the pupils who took part in the hockey tournament at the Priory yesterday. Eighteen teams took part in total, with Belmont having two of those teams. Our teams came second and fourth after the group stage but unfortunately due to the rain, the rest of the tournament had to be abandoned. Mr Togher was very impressed by all of our players who showed great enthusiasm and teamwork.

The final announcement of the morning was for attendance. The children in Reindeer Class were excited to find out they were the winners once again with a fantastic 98%!

Well done everyone!
