Mr Davidson was delighted to welcome everyone to our Star Achiever assembly this morning. It was wonderful that so many parents and carers were able to join us both in school and via Zoom as our Stars very proudly spoke about their learning.
This week, our terrific Stars received certificates for:
Reindeer Class - the effort she has shown in PE.
Fallow Class - his amazing retelling of the Enormous Turnip story.
Elk Class - her outstanding attitude and kindness to others.
Impala Class - her work in PE. We have been learning yoga with Inspire+ and she
has shown amazing skills and teamwork.
Barasingha Class - his amazing attitude, effort and progress in all his learning.
Sambar Class - showing a fantastic understanding of the relationship between decimals and fractions.
Taruca Class - his brilliant Maths work.
Certificates were also awarded to pupils who took part in a KS1 cricket festival earlier this month. Our team of cricketers had a great time learning about the various skills involved in cricket and represented us with brilliant attitude and effort. Our congratulations to the whole team.
Pupils in Sambar and Taruca rounded off a very busy week by taking part in a Rounders Tournament at the Kings School yesterday. Mr Togher was very proud to tell us of how well they represented the school; improving in every match with fantastic teamwork and only missing out on a semi-final place by a few rounders. A great job by everyone!
The children in Barasingha Class were very excited to learn they were the Attendance winners for the first time this term with a terrific 98.7%!
Well done to everyone!
