Star Achievers Of The Week

Unusually, we gathered for two assemblies on Friday morning. The first was to celebrate the achievements of our fabulous Star Achievers who have worked so hard and the second to congratulate Mrs Nix on receiving her long service award.

This week, our Stars received certificates for:

Fallow Class - enthusiasm and ideas in innovating his story.

Elk  Class - his hard work and concentration in phonics.

Impala Class - using powerful language and excellent WOW words.

Barasingha Class - being a super family historian!

Sambar Class - her understanding of place value.

Taruca Class - his wonderful work in English about the Kraken.

Jessica from Elk Class was the proud recipient of a bronze Times Tables badge - the first this academic year.

Another first for the new term was the award for class attendance. The new school councillors from Barasingha were very proud to collect the the certificate for a fabulous 98%!

We gathered on the field for our second assembly where Mr Davidson was delighted to present Mrs Nix with her long service award - 20 years! We cheered, as on behalf of us all, he thanked her for her tireless commitment and loyalty to the school; a true member of Team Belmont!

Well done everyone!
