Star Achievers Of The Week

The children in Reindeer Class were very excited to join our Star Achiever assembly for the very first time on Friday morning. All of our Stars have worked incredibly hard this week, applying their understanding to produce some fantastic pieces of work.

This week, our Stars received certificates for:

Reindeer Class - amazing care in her self-portrait.

Fallow Class - her descriptive writing for a setting.

Elk Class - his secure understanding of place value.

Impala Class - creating a powerful thought poem all about the Blitz.

Barasingha Class - her fantastic understanding of place value.

Sambar Class - his writing which shows a great appreciation of book talk, writer talk, magpied treasure and creativity.

More Times Table badges were also awarded this week. Sophie was the proud recipient of the coveted Platinum badge, whilst Zoe and David were both proud to receive their bronze.

Impala Class were excited to discover they were the Class Attendance winners of the week with a fabulous 97.7%

Our Cross Country team have been busy already this term, taking part in two events at the Meres. There were over 100 runners in each race, which involved running twice around the track. Mr Togher was delighted to tell us of his pride in how well they represented us in both events, with some of our runners improving by 19 places!

Well done everyone!
