Star Achievers Of The Week

Mrs Allen was delighted to welcome everyone to our first Star Achiever Assembly of the new year this morning. All of our wonderful Stars have shown great commitment to their learning and were awarded certificates for:

Reindeer Class - his excellent understanding of money.

Reindeer Class - his amazing independence in writing.

Fallow Class - her descriptive writing and enthusiasm.

Elk Class - her well-written account of her Christmas holiday.

Impala Class - working so hard on his multiplication learning this week.

Barasingha Class - her fantastic word choices and sentence structure.

Sambar Class - showing deep understanding of the links and connections between characters in ‘The Peculiars’.

Taruca Class - her commitment in learning her shapes.

Last term, the children in Impala enjoyed going for swimming lessons at the Sleaford pool each week. Mrs Allen was very pleased to present Learn To Swim certificates to Isabelle C, Yasminne and Maisie.

Mr Togher was very proud to report that five pupils from the school represented us brilliantly at the New Age Kurling competition at the King's School Sports Hall yesterday afternoon. Playing a Paralympic sport new to Belmont, the team made fantastic improvements during the day: losing 1, drawing 6 and winning their final game! We would like to thank all of the parents/carers who took the children to the event and gave such great support.

There was no award for Class Attendance today - the first award will be given next Friday.

Well done everyone!
