Star Achievers Of The Week

Mr Davidson welcomed us to this week's Star Achievers assembly where our Stars were very proud to share their learning with us all.

This week, our Stars received certificates for:

Fallow Class - making a fantastic poster about reducing traffic.

Elk Class - excellent ideas in her English writing.

Impala Class - scientific understanding and explanation of rocks.

Barasingha Class - a superb retelling of a report we are learning.

Sambar Class - excellent effort in Maths.

Taruca Class - the great detail and historical understanding shown in his biography of Walter Tull.

Children have been working hard to earn their Times Tables badges, and Mr Davidson was very pleased to award them to:

Bronze - Aaron, Layton & Chloe

Silver - Delaney-Jai, Bailey S, Rio, Charlie & Justas

Gold - Logan, Olly, Abigail & Sam

We also congratulated 4 pupils who have taken part in activities out of school: Lilah and Callum who have received certificated for swimming; Alicia who has been awarded two medals for dance and Max who has won a trophy for playing in his football team.

The Belmont football team were in action again this week - against Gonerby Hill Foot School. It was a tough match and Mr Togher was very pleased with how the team played together. He told us, "It was a brilliant performance with everyone having a fantastic attitude - we are ready and excited for our next match!"

The final announcement of the morning was of course for the Attendance winners. After Sambar Class had won it for the last two weeks, Fallow were very excited to learn they were this week's winners with a fabulous 99%!

Well done everyone!
