Star Achievers Of The Week

Achievements in Design & Technology, Art and English were the focus of the last Star Achiever assembly of the term on Friday morning. Mrs Allen was delighted to award certificates to the seven pupils chosen this week for all of their hard work, talent and dedication to their learning.

This week, certificates were awarded for:

Reindeer Class - the time and care she puts into her Art work.

Fallow Class - creating a beautiful clay pencil pot in Design and Technology

Elk Class - her accurate design and carefully made clay pot.

Impala Class - his brilliant character description.

Barasingha Class - her outstanding attitude and progress in learning.

Sambar Class - his amazing writing and pride in his work.

Taruca Class - his refugee writing which showed great empathy and emotion.

Everyone in school is working very hard to learn their times tables and Mrs Allen was very pleased to award badges to:

Bronze - Ryan (Elk), Lolan & Preston (Impala)

Silver - Torin (Barasingha)

Gold - Imogen, Tyler-Jay & Connor (Barasingha), Grace (Sambar)

In addition, the Times Tables Rock Stars website is proving very popular and more children have achieved Rock Hero (speed <1 second) and Rock Legend (speed >2 seconds) status this week, a tremendous achievement. Our accurate and speedy players are:

Rock Hero: Liam & Logan (Barasingha)

Rock Legend: Olly (Barasingha), Meinardas, Bailey S, Lexi & Justas (Sambar)

Sporting achievements were also celebrated during the assembly. Kate from Elk Class has been awarded her Goldfish One swimming certificate and four pupils have successfully completed the Inspire+ Legacy Challenges:

Sam's Challenge - Mason (Taruca)
Jonathan's Challenge: Mason, Shae, Sebastian & Tyler (Taruca)

Everyone in Barasingha Class was excited to learn they were the Attendance winners of the week with a fantastic 98.12%!

Well done everyone. We hope you have a great half term!
