The week beginning Monday 7 February is Children’s Mental Health Week and during the week we will be doing some special activities to help children keep mentally well. We will be using resources provided to us by Coram Life Education, 'SCARF', which we already use as part of our health and wellbeing/PSHE curriculum. To mark the end of Children's Mental Health Week, on Friday 11 February we will be holding a special Wear your Scarf to School day.
On that day, children are invited to wear a special or favourite scarf all day in school. We will also be doing some special activities to help us remember and celebrate SCARF’s important values of Safety, Caring Achievement, Resilience and Friendship.
There are activities you can do at home during Children's Mental Health Week, also provided by SCARF, to support children's emotional health. Please click on the following weblink to go directly to their site: https://www.coramlifeeducation.org.uk/more-activities-for-share-your-scarf-week
