Welcome Back - Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! We hope you had a lovely Christmas break and are as excited as we are to be back for the first term of 2022! Please find below some updates and reminders about the routines and arrangements in school this term. As usual, we will be sending home ParentMails throughout the term with further important information and details will also be published on the Coronavirus page of this website - please click HERE to go directly to it.

Covid-19 - Keeping Everyone Safe

  • Visitors should not enter the school if they are experiencing any of the following symptoms, or are isolating due to being unvaccinated and in close contact of a positive case :
    •  A high temperature (37.8 degrees and above)
    • A new, continuous cough
    • A loss of sense of smell or taste

  • Face coverings must be worn by all visitors when entering the school and in communal areas unless you are exempt. Staff wear face coverings when moving around the school.

  • It is essential that everyone uses hand sanitiser as you arrive at school and before leaving.

  • Our staff regularly take Lateral Flow tests and we have now been strongly encouraged to ask any parents and other visitors to take a Lateral Flow test before entering the school,

Wrap Around Provision

  • Our Early Bird and Breakfast club will continue to operate as normal – please ensure you pre-book by emailing Mrs Nix - debbie.nix@belmont.lincs.sch.uk.

  • Belmont Explorers After School Club will continue as normal.

PE

  • The time table for Term 3 is detailed below.

  • We would also like to take this opportunity to remind everyone of our PE kit expectations:

We expect children to be wearing shorts/tracksuit bottoms or suitable sporting clothing, a Belmont PE top or a plain white or maroon t shirt. They can wear jumpers/hoodies but they must be plain and suitable for Physical activity. In these colder times, children can wear woolly hats and gloves for outdoor PE and suitable light weight sport jackets/water proofs.
