Summer Fayre 2018

Summer Fayre - June 2018

What a fabulous afternoon it turned out to be for our Summer Fayre. The weather was glorious and it was lovely to see so many people supporting "All the Fun of the Fair."

We had some wonderful Belmont Bake Off entries including Summer Fruits, Afternoon Tea and an Ice Cream cake. They all looked amazing and we appreciate all of the effort and thought that went into making the creations. They also tasted yummy too!

Mr Togher got very wet during his time in the Stocks with pupils lining up to throw a sponge at him! Many of you also pushed yourselves to complete the Army Assault course that was exclusively designed for us using Ministry of Defence equipment. It was great to see so many use the challenging course.

Cinderella also heard about our school Summer Fayre and made a surprise appearance. The children loved having their photograph taken with her and she thanked the children for being so welcoming and kind.

Our competition winners were:

The FOBS Team would also like to say well done to all the children who took part in the Sports Festival. They all tried so hard and were eager to win for their team. Congratulations to the Blue Team who were the overall winners.

FOBS were pleased to provide the children with ice pops towards the end of their events in the heat of the afternoon. We also hope that you enjoyed the refreshments available this year. The raffle was also a success, offering once again, some fabulous prizes.

We are excited to announce that the total amount of funds raised to support the school between the Summer Fayre and the Sports Festival was an amazing £955.84.
