At Belmont, we want all of our children to develop an awareness and understanding of the world beyond their local environment, of which they may otherwise have very limited experience. They should be aware that many languages are spoken and many different cultures exist around the world. Through the study of the French language and culture, they will learn to communicate in another language to become confident that they can expand their horizons.
