The teaching of Art provides valuable educational, as well as social and cultural, experiences for children of all ages and gives children a meaningful insight into the value of art in the diverse world around us. Children are taught to appraise the work of famous artists, painters, sculptors, printmakers, architects and textile designers, as well as art that they themselves produce. Inspiring this self-confidence, ambition and evaluation of practice in early education is integral for the success of our future artists.
