It is current, happening now and so their voice is given meaning and purpose. It is our world and we all matter.

Picture News is a fantastic weekly resource used in school which enables children to read about current events, participate in debates and share their views and opinions. The topics contain a British Value focus, numerous resources to talk about as well as a child friendly newspaper. Children are given a 'Take Home' page each week so you can join in the discussion at home. You can find two examples below:
