EYFS, Year 1 and Year 2 (Reindeer, Fallow & Elk Classes)
- The Infant playground gate is opened at 8:45 am and locked at 9:00 am. Any pupils arriving after this time must enter the school through the school office.
- Teachers will be on the playground to greet their classes.
- Infant parents remain in the lower half of the playground – this is to ensure pupil safety as it supports a clear safe ‘hand-over’.
- At the end of the day, all Infant classes finish at 3:20 pm. The playground gate is opened at this time and again all parents remain in the lower half of the playground.
- Children in the EYFS Class come in to school via their own entrance off the Infant playground. This is the gate to the side of the Year 2 classroom that leads to the EYFS outdoor area.
Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 (Impala, Barasingha, Sambar & Taruca Classes)
- The main Junior (KS2) gate is opened at 8:45 am and locked at 9:00 am. Any pupils arriving after this time must enter the school through the school office.
- A member of staff is on duty from 8:45 am.
- Pupils line up at their classroom doors.
- All KS2 classes finish at 3:25 pm.
- At the end of the day. all Junior children leave via the Junior gate. In order to minimise congestion this is done one class at a time.
'Before School' Clubs
A healthy breakfast, for £1:00 is available to all children from 8:20 am – 8:40 am every morning at our popular ‘Breakfast Club’. The school also runs an ‘Early Bird Club’ from 7:45 am for £3.00 which includes breakfast and activities. Please notify the school in writing if your child has allergies to certain foods or additives. Sessions for both Early Bird and Breakfast Club must be booked prior to attending by emailing debbie.nix@belmont.lincs.sch.uk.
Our school offers a Homework Club each morning from 8:30 am for KS2 children.
