After taking part in the opening ceremony, where they represented Australia, the children enjoyed a number of activities throughout the day. In addition to the sports they were familiar with, they had fun learning how to play bowls, baseball and squash as well as racing in wheelchairs. They were also thrilled to meet Commonwealth silver medallist, Joe Roebuck and former world, European and Commonwealth 400m hurdles champion, Dai Greene.
