• The Infant playground gate is opened at 8:45 am and locked at 8:55am. Any pupils arriving after this time must enter the school through the school office.
• Children should walk straight into school upon arrival. We request that to ensure the health and safety of all children, parents/carers do not enter the building other than via the school office.
• A member of staff will be on duty whilst the gates are open. If you have a message for the class teacher, please advise this staff member, who will pass on your message as soon as possible. Alternatively, you can speak to the office staff or email enquiries@belmont.lincs.sch.uk
• Children in the EYFS Class come in to school via their own entrance off the Infant playground. This is the gate to the side of the Year 2 classroom that leads to the EYFS outdoor area.

LEAVING SCHOOL AT THE END OF THE DAY
At the end of the day, all infant classes finish at 3:20 pm. The playground gate is opened at this time and all parents should remain in the lower half of the playground.

• The main Junior (KS2) gate is opened at 8:45 am and locked at 8:55 am. Any pupils arriving after this time must enter the school through the school office.
• A member of staff is on duty from 8:45 am.
• Children should not be left unattended before the gates open as it is not possible for us to safeguard them before the start of the school day.
• The children in Key Stage 2 do have the option of coming to Homework Club from 8:30 am. A member of staff will ask any children who do come early to school to join the Homework Club to ensure their safety.
• Pupils line up at their classroom doors.

LEAVING SCHOOL AT THE END OF THE DAY

• All KS2 classes finish at 3:25 pm. 
• Children are not be permitted to leave until they have clearly identified and confirmed that they have seen the adult who is collecting them.
• Children in Years 5 and 6 who have written permission to walk home independently are permitted to leave the school site unaccompanied.
• If you have an alternative arrangement for your child to meet you in the car park or at a designated location outside the school grounds, the school must receive written confirmation of this arrangement via letter or email to the school office - enquiries@belmont.lincs.sch.uk 
• Please note that children who have permission to leave the school premises independently are no longer the responsibility of the school once they have passed through the school gate.
