We Say Farewell

The last day of the summer term is always an emotional one as we say a fond farewell to our fabulous children in Year 6, and this year, we are also saying goodbye to the wonderful Mrs Pallier.

Year 6 were very proud today to lead their Leavers Assembly, which was the culmination of a very busy last few weeks. As well as their fun end of term play - 'Belmont's Got Talent', the children enjoyed a trip to the Grantham Library, a brilliant fun water fight and a final Forest School session toasting marshmallows! We wish them all the very best of luck at their new schools. We are sure they will do brilliantly, and we look forward to hearing their news when they come back to visit.

Mrs Pallier will be greatly missed by all of us. She is an exceptional teacher who has made an enormous contribution to school life at Belmont. Her inspiration and expertise has made a lasting difference to the lives of the countless children she has taught over the years and the staff with whom she has worked. We thank her for her unwavering dedication and wish her a long, happy and well-deserved retirement.

We hope all of our Belmont families have a lovely summer break, and we look forward to seeing everyone again when school reopens in September.
