We know that many of you have noticed the apple tree in the Millennium Garden on Harrowby Lane tended by Belmont children has been partially removed.
We'd like to say a big thank you to the Rotary Club of Grantham Swimarathon for their generous donation of £2,000 to the school this week. We feel incredibly grateful for their support, and know our whole school community will feel the same.

The children in EYFS - Reindeer Class had a truly amazing day at Wild in the Woods last week … even if it didn’t stop raining for even a second!
Three awards were presented in each class in our Star Achiever celebration this afternoon, one for each of the Belmont Pocket Principles: Be Respectful: Be Responsible and Be Ready to Learn.
Children in Year 3 and Year 4, along with our Bronze Sports Ambassadors, had a great time at the Mini Olympics this week! We are very proud of the way they represented the school during this fabulous event.
Members of our after-school Gardening Club have worked hard this term with Mr Armstrong to refresh the flowers in the planter outside the office. It now looks so colourful!
There’s nothing quite like learning in the great outdoors! Last week, our children enjoyed a wonderful Forest School session, gathering around the firepit to carefully toast marshmallows.
We are absolutely thrilled to be welcoming Ed back to our school to lead a SUMO – Stop, Understand and Move On – workshop which will be taking place on Saturday, 27 June. His last visit sparked so many light-bulb moments as we explored fresh, powerful ways to support our children through the wild roller-coaster that is life.
We are delighted to let everyone know that we will be celebrating our 50th anniversary with an Afternoon Tea on the school field on Friday, 19 June! We would love to welcome parents, carers, grandparents and family members to share this wonderful celebration with us.
Our FOBS team do a fantastic job of running events and raising money for our school and need new members.
