      Last month, we launched our Attendance competitions, including a HERO colouring challenge and a 'Design Your Own Attendance HERO' activity. Mr Horan, our Attendance Governor, had the tough job of judging over 40 fantastic entries and was truly impressed by the children's creativity and imagination.

    • Celebrating Achievement

      The children in Year 4 – Barasingha Class were very excited on Wednesday to learn they had achieved their target in the Reading Competition! Since the beginning of term in January, they have achieved a word count of 1,010,070 and have now won 10 books for their classroom. A great achievement!

      We were very pleased to welcome PCSO Georgina back to Belmont today as part of the Lincolnshire Mini Police scheme. She led a special assembly about anti-social behaviour with the children in Year 5 and Year 6.

      The competition to be our Dojo House winners was certainly close last week with a difference of only one point between first and second place. Congratulations to Red Kites who came top with a fabulous score of 241 points. Our runners-up were Kestrels on 240 and only three points behind in third place, Ospreys.

    • See Our Wonderful Artwork

      This term, our Value is empathy, and we have been talking to the children a lot about stepping into other people’s shoes and have used books from the Read for Empathy Collection from The Empathy Lab. Each class has had a book to read, and you can see some of their wonderful artwork in the entrance hall. You can see a photo below.
