    The competition to be our Dojo House winners was certainly close this week with a difference of only seven points between first and second place. Congratulations to Ospreys who came top with a score of 168 points. Our runners-up were Sparrowhawks on 161 and only seven points behind in third place, Red Kites.

    Children are making a terrific effort with our Reading Competition. Year 6 - Taruca Class topped the league table this week with a word count of 683,335, closely followed by Year 4 - Barasingha Class on 579,421.

    Three awards were presented in each class in our Star Achiever celebration this afternoon, one for each of the Belmont Pocket Principles: Be RespectfulBe Responsible and Be Ready to Learn. The children who excelled this  week are:

    • EYFS & KS1: Oakley D, Minnie, Gabriel, Ellie, Anna, Archie, Benas, Theo C and Harlow
    • KS2:  Finn, Violet, Josef, Emily, Henry, Peggy, Harlan, Olympia, Jaxon, Aleisha, Ruby and John

    The class with the highest attendance for week-ending 6 March, was Year 2 - Elk Class with 97.9%.
