Belmont Young Journalists, Antonella and Ruby, report on our Star of the Term assembly held this afternoon, where we celebrated pupils in each class who have completed outstanding work and made excellent progress this term.
This afternoon, Mr Allsopp was very pleased to award certificates to:
Archie (Reindeer Class) – for his fantastically creative ideas. He is always thinking outside the box and challenging himself to create something new.
Rosalie (Fallow Class) – for her amazing artwork. Her use of colour and pattern worked so well together when she created a plate in the style of ceramicist Clarice Cliff.
Theo (Elk Class) – for his outstanding work in Science. He has shown fantastic enthusiasm, curiosity and a real love of learning during our topic on plants.
Tobias (Impala Class) – for his brilliant attitude to learning. He always pushes himself to do the best that he can.
Henry (Barasingha Class) – for his fantastic progress and positive attitude towards his maths learning this term. He has tried incredibly hard in every lesson, and we are impressed with his resilience, determination and ambition – never giving up, even when things feel tricky.
Annabelle (Sambar Class) – for producing so many amazing pieces of writing. A keen reader, Annabelle confidently edits her own writing and always includes a range of features to ensure her writing is the best it can be.
Darcy-Mai (Taruca Class) – for her fantastic writing and her creative ideas. Her most recent writing is full of unique ideas with a dark, morose atmosphere.
Well done everyone. Have a lovely week off!
