Preparing For The New School Year
We hope everyone has enjoyed a lovely summer break. As school starts again on Thursday, 3 September, a ParentMail has been sent home to our families with helpful information for the first few days back. We can't wait for term to begin!
- All children should wear their full school uniform for the first 2 days back.
- PE days will be communicated once we return to school.
- New Year 3 - the children go into school via the Junior gate next to the school office. Please note this area is not staffed until the gates open at 8:45 am. Collection is via the Junior Playground from 3:25 pm.
- New Year 5 - will be swimming from Tuesday, 8 September until 1st December 2026. A letter and consent form were sent home before the summer break. Swimming hats will be required, goggles if required. Girls should wear a full swimming costume and boys should wear Speedo type swim shorts (not baggy). Payments should be paid via ParentMail. Children should wear their school uniform on their swimming day.
- School Meals - if these are required, please double-check that orders for school meals have been placed via ParentPay. If this is not the case, a packed lunch from home will be required.
- Wraparound Care Clubs - please remember to book in for Early Bird/Breakfast Club and After School (Belmont Bucks) via ParentMail if this is required.
- Key Stage 2 Homework Club - Years 3/4/5/6 can attend our free Homework Club (starting Monday, 7 September) from 8:30 am with Mrs Tucker if they wish. They should arrive through the school office and will go to class from there at 8:45 am. Details of our other school clubs available this year will be announced after the new term begins.
