It was a fabulous start to the term for Fallow and Elk classes this morning when they took part in the 'Gruffalo Granny' event organised by the British Library and Macmillan Children's Books. The children were enthralled as author, Juliet Donaldson acted out and retold The Gruffalo and then her new story, Gruffalo Granny. The illustrator of the books, Alex Scheffler, showed them how he creates the fabulous drawings. It was all great fun and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.
