At Belmont, we are educating pupils who will one day work in careers that have, as yet, not been created. The technology they are using in school and how they are accessing it will not be the technology of their future lives because this subject is changing at an immeasurable rate. Our cultural capital shows that many of our children do not have access to a variety of technology that is safe and appropriate to use. What we are doing is giving them the opportunity to develop a passion for the subject, teaching them to explore and be curious, to stay safe, to gain confidence using technology, to tinker and to code. It is these skills we wish for them to take with them when they leave Belmont.
