As you know, we have two special assemblies each week in school - Belmont Winners Wednesdays and Star Achievers. Every Wednesday, we congratulate our fantastic readers and celebrate our Dojo House Champions. The House are Sparrowhawks, Red Kites, Kestrels and Ospreys and earlier this week our winner was Red Kites with a fabulous 91 points!

Our Star Achiever celebration takes place on a Friday afternoon, with parents and carers invited to attend. Three awards are presented in each class, one for each of the Belmont Pocket Principles: Be Respectful: Be Responsible and Be Ready to Learn. The children who excelled this week are:

• KS1: Rosalie, Bleu, Grace, Markuss, Ada and Violet
• KS2: Ted, Eva, Lillie, Kenny, Poppy and Harry (children in Year 4 - Barasingha Class are at Rand Farm)

There were joint winners for the highest attendance for week-ending 12 September: EYFS - Reindeer Class and  Year 3 - Impala Class, both with an impressive 100%. What a great start to the year!
