At Belmont, we pride ourselves on high standards of behaviour.  We have a positive behaviour policy called ‘The Belmont Way’ which is successful in creating a happy, secure and orderly environment.  Children are expected to follow the three ‘pocket principles’ and the three ‘fantastics’ which are our rules and routines, taught to show care, respect and consideration for others and their property and to be polite and courteous to adults and other children.  All staff consistently support children in making positive choices and set out clear sanctions for when they struggle to do this.  It is through these expectations we are able to achieve our vision and aims
