In our special Belmont Winners Wednesday assembly earlier this week, our Dojo House Champions were Kestrels, with a score of 185, with Red Kites only 4 behind on 181.
The Reading Competition is in full swing with Elk Class - Year 2 joining the challenge. The winners this week are Barasingha Class - Year 4 who read 478,688 words during the first week. A fabulous total - we can't wait to see who will be in first place next week.
Three awards were presented in each class in our Star Achiever celebration on Friday afternoon, one for each of the Belmont Pocket Principles: Be Respectful: Be Responsible and Be Ready to Learn. The children who excelled this week are:
EYFS & KS1: Ella, Arli, Leo, Ellie, Reuben, Jackson, Ensley, Jacob and Billy
KS2: Nelly-Flo, Bella, Brodie, Nali, Ellie-May, Carter Lm Frankie, Ruby R, Ezra, Remi, Harry and Harriet.
For the second week running, the class with the highest attendance was EYFS - Reindeer Class with 97.7%.
