It has been a very busy term and the month of December was even more so as the excitement built up as Christmas approaches.
After weeks of rehearsal, the children in EYFS and KS1 were very excited to perform their nativity, 'A Miracle In Town' in front of their families. They worked so hard learning lines, dancing, singing and playing instruments and everyone had a wonderful time!
Classes were also busy making items to sell at the FOBS Christmas Fair held last Friday. We would like to thank everyone who came along to join in the fun. The amount raised will be announced in the New Year.
A particular highlight of the festive season has been the Chartwell's Christmas Lunch which coincided with Christmas Jumper Day! The jumpers were great and the food was delicious - as you can see from the photo below! Our thanks go to Miss Rowlands and Miss Misiak for cooking the meals!
We were glad so many were able to join us at annual Carol Service at the Church of Ascension on Wednesday. Our thanks go to the Reverend Sam Parsons for her kind invitation to the church. We were also able to gather together in the hall for our Christingle Service, one of our very special events of the year.
Today, of course, was party day! Our annual Christmas Quiz, hosted by Mr Allsopp, was a closely fought contest, with Year 3 - Impala Class being the worthy winners for the second year in a row.
The final announcement today was for the class with the best attendance this term. The children in Year 3 - Taruca Class were very excited to hear they were the winners with a fabulous 96.3% and they will receive a special treat in January.
The Governors and staff at Belmont would like to take this opportunity to wish you a merry Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year. We hope you are able to enjoy some wonderful times together over the Christmas period and look forward to seeing everyone again on Tuesday, 6 January 2026.
