Yesterday, the children in Key Stage1 had a lovely ‘Open the Book’ assembly with the team from LightSpace telling us the story of John the Baptist. We learned about his important message to others. John encouraged people to be kind, fair and to share what they had with those who needed it. We thought about how his words are still important today and how we can show kindness. The children reflected on how small actions could be important to other people.
