Today, we were very excited to welcome representatives from Grantham Town Football Club and the Lincolnshire Cheer & Dance Academy to Belmont!

During a special assembly, Amanda from the LCDA spoke about her cheerleading career and how much fun it is - the children were shown a couple of great stunts!

Representatives from the club then told everyone about the massive day of football, family fun and live entertainment that is taking place at the Meres on Saturday, 28 March, with free school tickets offered to the children. The day's entertainment includes a match between Grantham Town and AFC Mansfield as well as the grand final of the Under 11 Gingerbread Cup and Trophy. There will also be a performance from the LCDA and live music from BBC Introducing artist LJ Pittam - an ex-Belmont pupil! Their poster is below.
