Star Achievers Of The Week

With many pupils dressed in red to support Sport Relief, the hall was very colourful today as Mr Davidson welcomed everyone to this morning's Star Achiever assembly!

This week, our Stars received certificates for:

Reindeer Class - learning to read the Reception High Frequency words.

Fallow Class - imagining a Great Spangled Pandemonium.

Elk Class - her detailed drawing and carefully chosen composition.

Impala Class - working so hard and making good progress in her fraction learning.

Barasingha Class - his fantastic inference skills.

Taruca Class - her wonderful writing about Hajj.

More Times Tables badges were also awarded this morning, including our highest level Platinum badge to Charlie and Brooke in Barasingha, a great achievement! Well done to Tienna, William and Darin (Impala), Hector, Nikola, Isla and Laurie-Leigh (Barasingha)!

Many of our children take part in exciting activities out of school and today Logan from Fallow showed us the Sport Cadet certificate he has been awarded. Eliyana from Impala is very proud to be a chorister at St Wulfram's Church and showed us the wonderful trophy she has been awarded as chorister of the month!

Mr Togher was delighted to give us an update on our sporting achievements this week. Our footballers played two exciting matches against Gonerby Hill Foot School, giving their all with a tremendous team spirit. Our netballers played their first games in the netball league, losing one game but winning the second 7-2! Once again, the children played with great spirit and teamwork.

For the first time this term, Barasingha were the Class Attendance winners with a fantastic 99.4%!

Well done everyone!
