Star Achievers Of The Week

Mr Davidson was very pleased to welcome everyone to our Star Achiever assembly on Friday morning. Our Stars were excited and proud to confidently share their learning with us all in school and their parents and carers who were watching via Zoom.

This week, our fabulous Stars received certificates for:

Reindeer Class - her wonderful self portrait.

Fallow Class - her kind and caring nature in supporting a new member of the class.

Elk Class - his superb DT project.

Impala Class - her interest in, and high quality RE learning.

Barasingha Class - her amazing work in RE week.

Sambar Class - showing great maturity and thought when editing and improving his writing.

Taruca Class - his wonderful work in RE, especially his drama.

Our congratulations also went to Bailey from Sambar Class who was awarded his silver Times Tables badge.

Mr Togher told us some exciting news from yesterday's School Games Girls Football Tournament held on the King's School playing field. They played some fantastic matches, defended brilliantly, scored some impressive goals and came 3rd overall! As Mr Davidson awarded the girls their medals, we especially congratulated Roxy, who scored the goal of the tournament - from the half way line! Mr Togher said it was the best goal he'd seen and he was so impressed by all the players. He will be bringing us a full report of the tournament soon - look out for it on the website!

The final announcement this morning was for the Attendance winners and for the first time this term, the winner was Barasingha Class with a fabulous 98%!

Well done everyone!
