Star Achievers Of The Week

Mr Davidson was delighted to welcome everyone to our Star Achiever assembly earlier today. Our Stars were very excited and proud to share their learning with us all in school and their parents and carers who were watching via Zoom. Unfortunately, our Stars from Reindeer and Impala Classes were unable to attend the assembly today but we hope they will be able to join us next week.

This week, our fabulous Stars received certificates for:

Fallow Class - her amazing Mathematical understanding of the addition symbol.

Elk Class - her fantastic progress in phonics.

Barasingha Class - her excellent poem and the images she creates.

Sambar Class - producing an amazing still life inspired by Georgio Morandi.

Taruca Class - her wonderful geometric art from England Maths Week.

Our congratulations also went to Tienna from Sambar Class who was awarded her platinum Times Tables badge, a fantastic achievement.

There was more football news from Mr Togher this morning about our mixed football team who played in the School Games tournament on the King's School playing field yesterday. They missed out on the semi finals by only one goal and showed great team spirit and determination throughout the day. All of the players were fantastic representatives for Team Belmont!

The final announcement this morning was for the Attendance winners and for the second week this term, the winner was Barasingha Class!

Well done everyone!

This term, we hope to invite the parents and carers of Star Achievers to join the celebration either by joining us in school or watching via Zoom. The password will be changed weekly.
