Star Achievers Of The Week

Mr Davidson was delighted to welcome everyone to his favourite assembly of the week as our Stars shared their fantastic learning with us all this morning.

This week, our fabulous Stars received certificates for:

Reindeer Class - his improving listening and focus during his learning.

Fallow Class - his excellent attention to detail during our Art lessons.

Elk Class - his resilience and determination in Maths.

Impala Class - making great progress with his reading and his growth in confidence.

Barasingha Class - the progress he has made in his Maths fluency.

Sambar Class - his 'innovated' Beowolf story which showed excellent use of the action toolkit.

Taruca Class - her excellent work in our yoga sessions.

More Times Tables badges were also awarded this morning. Our congratulations went to: Bronze - Jaden (Barasingha) and Silver - Trinity (Impala) & Daniel (Barasingha). For the very first time a very special Platinum badge was awarded to a child in Impala Class - a fantastic achievement by Thomas!

The final announcement of the assembly was from Mrs James, Chair of the FOBS who kindly joined us to talk about the recent FOBS Sponsored Read Challenge. She was very pleased to let us know that it was a tremendous success! Money is still coming in, but so far over £800 has been raised with the children in Barasingha Class raising over £200 alone. Two children in each class were presented with certificates and a £5.00 voucher from WH Smith to spend on books or stationery. Mrs James will be announcing the final total raised for the school in the next few days.

Well done everyone!
