Star Achievers Of The Week

Mr Allsopp was pleased to welcome everyone to our Star Achiever assembly earlier today. Our Stars were extremely proud and excited to confidently share their learning with us all in school and parents and carers who were watching via Zoom.

This week, our fabulous Stars received certificates for:

Reindeer Class - his significant progress in both reading and writing. He really does try so hard!

Fallow Class - her excellent progress in reading.

Elk Class - his fantastic understanding of statistics.

Impala Class - his amazing sportsmanship during Sports Day.

Barasingha Class - her fantastic Art work designing a Mandala.

Sambar Class - her effort in Sports Day practise.

Taruca Class - her wonderful artwork and brilliant writing.

Four pupils have earned their times tables badges this week. Well done to Jim & Ronnie for bronze, Poppy for silver and Ronnie for gold!

Achievements out of school were also celebrated today as four pupils have had great success in football and rugby and brought in their trophies for us to see. In football,  Ronnie was named player of the match for his team; Isabel has been named players player of the year and Arthur was his coach's player of the year. In rugby, Tobias was the most improved player of the year in his team.

Members of our Table Tennis Club have worked hard this year learning to play table tennis. Coached by Mrs Nix, the group took part in an exciting end of year tournament in school recently. Mr Allsopp was very pleased to award trophies and medals to the winners Ellie and Reegan and to Kia and Teddy who were runners-up. Certificates were also presented to all members of the club for the improvement in their skills this year.

The class Attendance winners were Sambar Class with a fantastic 98.6%

Well done everyone!
